This fantasy-genre project is a poetic and graceful tribute to the female form, inspired by the folklore of spirits haunting the deep coal mines.
Created over two months, this series of delicate photographs captures an exquisite sense of luxury. Custom-crafted coal adornments were used to contrast and highlight the models' beauty, elevating raw stone to the status of a precious gem.
The elegant black-and-white monochrome aesthetic emphasizes the material’s sophistication. The crystalline sharpness of the anthracite creates a rhythmic harmony with the fluid contours of the female figures. The mood and energy of each shot are driven by complex, staged lighting, seamlessly merging the human form with the bold, textured essence of the coal.
